Meet the new Hondo

I don't have anything sardonic to say this morning.

Congratulations to the Spurs and their fans. We have all witnessed some beautiful team basketball.

OK, maybe I have a few sardonic things, but I'm going to get to that in another post. For now, let's just all bask in the glow of Kawhi Leonard becoming the youngest NBA Finals MVP since Tim Duncan, of Gregg Popovich sitting alone with his emotions on the bench while the celebration raged, of an endless barrage of three point swishes, and of Tim Duncan being... fucking Tim Duncan.

"Kawhi Leonard becoming the youngest NBA Finals MVP since Tim Duncan"

Oh, the irony.

But don't say "fucking Tim Duncan". Just... don't.

Anyway, looking forward to the 2014/15 preview. Will the Lakers bounce back? Oh, just kidding. However, keep it up!

damn, thought the site was dead when it wouldn't load for a few days. hope y'all doing well behind the scenes. And the Spurs (aside from a few ugly turnovers) were the opposite of Basketbawful...is there a term for that?

This team,really earned it. No Lebron's ,no Kobe's .. Pope's T.D,Ginobli & Duncan earned it. Kudos.(a second, wouldn't hurt either..). Coming from a Lakers/Kobe fan.

Great new content man. It's been what, close to a year? Really happy this site is back up. Sadly it's just in time fo the post season, but what can you do. Let's just hope you know who doesn't show up and drive people away again.

In retrospect, this basketbawful entry is now hilariously ironic:
